Electrician $30 $40/hr (DOE)
Location: Thompson Pipe Group Alvarado TX
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (OT & weekends as needed)
Thompson Pipe Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team! You'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:Install/repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and conduit to NEMA standards
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components
Install/program VFDs, PLCs, and other automated equipment
Test and inspect electrical systems for safety and compliance
Use diagnostic tools and read electrical schematics
3+ years of industrial electrical experience
Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and transducers
Ability to troubleshoot analog controls and automated systems
Comfortable using hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
Apprenticeship or electrician's license preferred but not required
Must be able to lift/move up to 75 lbs
Work involves standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing
Must be comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
