**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** We are seeking a driven and experienced associate to join our team as a Drayage Manager. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your knowledge of transportation, logistics, and imports to make a direct impact on our supply chain operations. **Key Responsibilities:** + Coordinate and oversee supply chain activities, ensuring merchandise flows efficiently from suppliers to stores. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business. + Set clear goals, measure progress, and drive accountability for results. + Identify and address opportunities for improvement, promoting adaptability and continuous learning. + Supervise, mentor, and develop associates, including hiring, training, and recognition. + Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. + Analyze data to streamline network efficiencies and resolve escalations. + Conduct performance reviews of distribution centers and suppliers. + Track the movement and arrival of goods, and develop recommendations to address supply chain constraints. + Act as a liaison for field operations, communicating expectations and addressing performance issues. + Lead process improvement efforts and support cost reduction initiatives. **Who We're Looking For:** + A strong understanding of transportation and logistics, and experience in Imports. + Excellent communicators with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. + Team players who thrive in a fast-changing environment and can multitask effectively. + Willingness to work long hours and extra days during peak periods as needed. + Flexibility to work onsite and off-site as requested by management. _The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
