Job Description

Personnel Plus is NOW HIRING a Poultry Line Worker in New Plymouth, ID. No Experience Needed!

Employees are responsible for the entire process of converting poultry into consumer-ready products. This includes slaughtering animals, breaking down their carcasses into usable parts, and packaging these parts into cuts or other forms per customer’s request.

Monday – Friday
Day shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Pay is DOE
Will work May-December
No experience needed!

Duties:

Slaughter poultry according to federal regulations regarding the humane treatment of livestock
Work with production staff to ensure that all poultry is processed within federal regulations
Cutting up poultry per customer requests
Handle related byproducts such as skin, bones, organs, blood, etc.
Follow safety regulations to protect against contamination or injury while working with food
products
Roll tubs of raw material in refrigerated areas until they are needed for further processing
Work with a variety of equipment such as air compressed tools, knives and vacuums.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils after processing is completed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to stand 100% of the shift and work in a steady pace.
Fast hand and arm movement to keep up with the production line
Repetitive hand and arm movements
Work in a cool environment around 60 degrees for the entire shift
Excellent attention to detail for product inspection and quality assurance
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must be drug free
